It can be sanded immediately to a smooth edge with up to 240 grit and will not tear. On small damage, there is very little interruption to the grain so simply refinishing usually produces an invisible repair. From major cat scratch damage to highly worn steering wheels, this filler achieves amazing results by building a fast succession of layers before sanding it smooth. It can also be used in a similar fashion with small tears to vinyl where traditional vinyl welding will produce a repair more obvious than the damage you are trying to fix. This product is not recommended where high flexibility and softness are important. It is excellent for transit damage. It can also be used as a texturing agent by dabbing small amounts with an irregular faced sponge.
